I'm hoping that this won't seem like too ignorant a question, but here it goes: I'm currently starting up a project that will require that I somehow connect Mac II's and Symbolics LISP machines together. The Macs would be mainly used for publishing purposes, but we want node-to-node communication between all machines. The Symbolics can work perfectly with machines supporting TCP, Internet addresses, etc. What I want to know is whether there are TCP/IP implementations for the Mac that work with the Finder (preferably Multifinder). I don't want AUX at this point. I also need to know what kind of requirements there will be for me in terms of maintaining this software -- I don't want to have to hack the code every day to keep it running. I basically need an out-of-the-box solution. Does anyone know of any such systems or at least point me towards the right people? Thanks in advance. -- John Lawler =========================================================================== ===== John E. Lawler Arthur Andersen & Co. Artificial Intelligence Group 33 W.
