[comp.protocols.appletalk] The format of /etc/atalk.local

aw0g#atalk.errors@ANDREW.CMU.EDU (02/18/88)

We unfortunately do not posess the actual KIP code, yet the CAP code
does depend on the file /etc/atalk.local. I was wondering if anyone
out there can send me an example of the /etc/atalk.local and a des-
cription of its fields. Also, has anyone tried to run CAP on a KFPS
with the given srec file, etalkgw.srec? Thanks,

You MUST be running KIP in your gateways to use CAP.

This may change, but for now, this is the way that it is.

etalkgw.srec is probably the ethertalk gateway code from Kinetics not
KIP. Call up Kinetics and ask for a copy of the KIP code if you don't
have it.
