The next CAP distribution is rolling along and should be ready soon. I am looking for test sites with the following attributes: 1. willing to try it out 2. willing to attempt to track down problems 3. willing to report back within 2-3 weeks 4. with access to the internet (e.g. ftp) What I would be looking for is reports on how easy/hard the installation process was, how (un)clear the documentation was, and how well the software worked and any suggestions/recommendations/comments. The first and third criteria are for obvious reasons. The fourth is because of the size of the distribution and for ease of management. The second criteria is very important if you are not running Ultrix 2.0, BSD 4.3 on a vax, ACIS 4.2 on a RT, or A/UX since these are the only kinds of machines I have easy access to. If you are interested, send me mail and I will notify you when the test distribution is ready which, barring unforseen problems, should be no more than 1-2 weeks. You should probably respond only if you already have CAP up and running. WARNING: this distribution has the desktop and finderinfo information file changes noted in bug report 15. Once you have run the new version of Aufs on your volumes, there is no turning back. Charlie C. Kim User Services Columbia University
