I am writing a network message system, and would like to use TCP instead of writing my own stream protocol. I really don't want to develop and debug a protocol which can't talk to anybody. I would like to (eventually) provide SMTP support, so the TCP is very useful. Is there any TCP/IP driver system which requires no license fees? I cannot pay for a convienence (This is a personal project). If not TCP, what is an easy stream protocol? I saw something mentioned about Appletalk Stream Protocol, but I don't have Inside Appletalk, so I don't know anything about it. Thanks -Justin

FTP the source code to NCSA Telnet -- includes stream library with documentation and examples. Get it from ftp.ncsa.uiuc.edu (128.174.20.50) in the NCSA_Telnet directory. Tim Krauskopf NCSA timk@ncsa.uiuc.edu
