I see in the new Black Box Catalog a reference to "Flash-talk", which appears to be the appletalk we all know and love running at 768kbaud instead of 230.4kb. Does anyone know anything about this?

FashTalk is a Tops (Centram/Sun) product: apparently just faster transmitter and receiver hardware. It runs over Localtalk cabling. I'm not sure how well it runs over Apple's cabling hardware, but it's within PhoneNet's specs, and I imagine Tops' cabling is compatible. Since it requires hardware, it's currently only available with Tops' PC Appletalk boards. They've announced plans to bring out something for Macs, but that's still just ghostly. /kenw
