CAP Distribution 5.00 is now archived in info-mac at SUMEX.Stanford.EDU. Thanks should go to Bill Croft at SUMEX. Here's a brief description of what goes on there from Bill: This machine would be better for west coast folks since it is here at Stanford. Sumex also has a direct IMP interface, so transfers should be faster. The files are in the <info-mac> directory as: at-cap5.info at-cap5.modifications at-cap5.readme at-cap5.tarz Note that most files on <info-mac> are plain text and FTP easily. HOWEVER due to the size of cap5 (1.4 megabytes) we are only posting the compressed tar file (at-cap5.tarz). YOU MUST type the command 'tenex' to your UNIX client FTP program before transfering the 'tarz' file. This is because sumex-aim is a TOPS20 (tenex) site and stores 8-bit binary files in a peculiar fashion. Charlie C. Kim User Services Columbia University
