As I have been reminded by a number of folks, the Tandy TandyLink
adapter (an Appletalk PC-like card that I had referred to in
an earlier message), like the TOPS FlashCard, in fact DOES NOT
WORK with Apple's AppleShare PC software!!!!! Was reading
from the wrong side of my "will work/won't work" list when
I wrote the original message.
The Tandy card DOES seem to work fine with TOPS software, however,
and also seems to work with the implementations of AppleTalk PC/IP
that are around (such as in Stanford's PC/IP implementation). Am
trying some other tests with that now, however, so will post
final conclusions re: AppleTalk-PC TCP/IP at a later date.
Sorry for any inconveniences my original goof may have caused.
