There are four CAP Problem Reports (CPRs). One of them is mandatory
for Ultrix 2.2 sites (getmnt is called incorrectly for Ultrix 2.2 - I
tried to get this right without a 2.2 system to test it, but it was
just that little bit off). Please note that some of these CPRs
contain patches for more than one problem.

You can retrive the cpr's from cunixc.cc.columbia.edu via anonymous
ftp from the directory cap/cpr.* or from sumex.stanford.edu via
anonymous ftp as ps:<info-mac>at-cap5.cpr*.

Other known problems include:
o bad path names in afpvols file can cause problems
o HyperCard 1.2.1 generates funny file names like hOmE: since
Aufs does not support case independent file names, HyperCard 1.2.1
does not work with Aufs. (There is another problem too, dealing with
the error that HyperCard expects when a file is not found in a path -
Aufs returns ParamErr while the error HyperCard expects is
ObjectNotFound (the specification is ambiguous on this point) -- if
you want to change this - it is in afpdid.c where it prints out "No
such component").
o lwsrv - lpr interface needs improvement: in particular,
there are problems with very large files and files that contain binary
data (depending upon the version of lpr).
o lwpr doesn't initialize a variable before its use - this can
cause a core dump and/or improper action if "-p" is not used.
o CAP will work with KSTAR or the GatorBox. In both cases, at
least ONE box must talk to atalkad to get the IP/AppleTalk network
mappings. Performance will be better if all boxes capable of KIP
routing talk to atalkad. Note: the GatorBox does not, as of the last
software release I was given, talk to atalkad (well, it may talk to
it, but doesn't process the information).
o Aufs doesn't support short file names, case independent file
names and I don't plan to add them anytime in the forseeable future,
but I should write up something on how someone could.

Some of the above items are fixed in the master copy, but I am not
planning to send out any cpr's on them or issue a new release anytime
soon. Some of them are in my todo list, but, unfortunately, are very
near the bottom and won't move to the top for at least 6 months.
