[comp.protocols.appletalk] Q-Bus LocalTalk interface

John_Nicol@mtsg.ubc.ca (10/28/88)

Has anyone on the network heard about any Q-Bus device (for MicroVAX II or for
MicroPDP-11) that would provide a direct physical interface to a LocalTalk
network? Thanks for any help that can be offered.

When Kinetics first started they sold a Q-bus LocalTalk board with
drivers. I believe they still sell it, they don't advertise it
because it never sold very well (most people purchased the stand-alone
Fastpath box. As I recall the board was around $1,500.
