Hello all. I need to know how (and if possible I suppose) to use the game port from an Apple 2e for input and output. The actual use will be (hopefully) to simply control a pin (pick a pin, any pin) whether it is high or low and to test a pin (pick a different pin, any different pin) to read whether it is high or low. This needs to be done from AppleBasic (there is some assembly running amok in this program so if nothing else, I could try my hand at AppleAssembly) Is this possible and if so, how? There is relative urgence behind the mere feasibility of this project so please, Email what you know now, regardless of whether it would be more helpful after you dug out that back issue of AppleAnswers. :-) Also, please do email instead of posting as I do not frequent this group and the way finals look, I may not see the light of day for awhile... Thanks, very very much. -- Dan Chaney chaney@ms.uky.edu (from uunet and the like, try ...!ukma!chaney) BITNET : CN0001DC@UKCC or chaney@UKMA or MC.DAN@UKPR UUCP : (uunet, etc)...ms.uky.edu!dans.uucp!apple
