Yes, a LaserWriter may experience timeout problems over an internet printing session, but would a LaserSpooler (Mac based) or a UNIX based spooler have the same problem? Could the spoolers be configured to have long enough timeouts? If so, how would that affect overall performance for local printing? Would a separate daemon for internet printing be appropriate?
