[comp.protocols.appletalk] Gateway configuration with KIP

matthew@uvabick.UUCP (Matthew D. Lewis) (12/27/88)

Hello netland. I am trying to install KIP0688 on our Gould Powernode,
and I have a question about the gateway configuration. Specifically,
what should go in the Fastpath manager configuration entries when using
KIP? I know what to do with the configuration when working with the
Kinetics etalkgw file, but not what KIP expects.

In addition, does anyone out there have experience with KIP and CAP on a Gould?
I'd appreciate any pointers. Replies gratefully accepted by mail or posting.

Thanks a lot, and have a great New Year.

I have CAP5.0 running on a GOULD Powernode 9080 and 3 NP1's...it has been
working fine. You would configure as if BSD OS. The one thing I remember
that was different when I brought it up on these machines was that its an NFS
type machine, you have to manually change that in m4.setup...
