We have an aging Lisa that is gathering dust but would like to make some use of it. One idea is to use it as an AppleShare fileserver. We have some software that turns the Lisa into a MacXL, but I'm not sure if AppleShare works on an XL (according to the documentation, AppleShare workstation s/w doesn't work on an XL, but it doesn't say anything about an XL being a server). But I have heard of a product that lets the Lisa emulate a Mac+. Does anybody known if an AppleShare server will work on an XL or a Lisa emulating a Mac+? Has anyone tried this? Is it feasible?
