[comp.protocols.appletalk] Aufs misbehaving.

Hi there, I am having problems with our Aufs server. It is running
under the latest version of CAP on a Sun3/60 with a SCSI drive. The server
mounts fine and I have a generic account for public files. Trouble is
when I copy a file to the server, I get the standard copy dialog box
with cancel button. The box says "reading from macdrivename". The it
switches to "writing to aufsservername" and the watch cursor appears
and the network icon at the top left of the screen doesnt flash but
stays on permanently and nothing happens. The cancel button will not
work. Hitting the interupt and escaping into Macsbug and then either
issuing es or ea returns to the locked modal dialog box. I have to rb
to get control back. If I then mount the server and look for the
file, it is usually all there if I have left the process long enough.
This kind of thing also sometimes happens when trying to open the
server volume.
My question is obviously, does anyone know what is happening?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
