When using the printer spooler "lwsrv" which comes with CAP 5.0, I have failed to print documents from FullWrite Professional. I have no problems printing from other applications and it all worked fine with "lwsrv" from CAP 4.0. We are also running "psrev" from the "Transcript" package on that printer. This is how "lwsrv" is called: /usr/local/cap/lwsrv -n "Gutenberg" -p gutenberg \ -a /usr/local/lib/laserpreps/adict \ -f /usr/local/lib/laserpreps/lw+fonts \ -T quote8bit Maybe I haven't given "lwsrv" the right switches? /Dan Sahlin email: dan@sics.se or dan@sics.uucp or ..!enea!sics!dan mail: Swedish Inst. of Comp. No, the problem is in FullWrite Professional. It puts out a %%BeginProcSet comment, but doesn't supply an EndProcSet to match. Lwsrv then obligingly swallows the whole job as a file somewhere. The correct fix for this is to make a huge fuss and get the FullWrite amateurs to fix it. I didn't do this as all I have is the demo. -- William Roberts ARPA: liam@cs.qmc.ac.uk Queen Mary College UUCP: liam@qmc-cs.UUCP 190 Mile End Road Tel: 01-975 5250 LONDON, E1 4NS, UK Fax: 01-981 7517
