I used the GatorBox's NFS support under SunOS 4.0 on a Sun 386i with no problem. I told the GatorBox to use the YP entries in domain YP.gsd.harvard.edu. Perhaps you forgot the "YP" prefix? What problem did you have with the YP verification scheme? Did you remember to include the GatorBox in /etc/netgroup? The latter might fix your Access violation error. Those are the ideas that come to mind immediately. Also, I reported a problem with CAP, GatorBoxes, SunOS 4.0.1 and the 386i about two weeks ago. After beating my head against the wall a few times I finally called Cayman for help. Being just down the road from them helps a lot. The SWAT team arrived and fixed the problem in about ten minutes. Hard to beat service like that. -David C.
