My firm is running CAP 5.0 on a Sun 3/280 to two Mac II's over a Kinetics FastPath KFPS-3. The usual CAP services, e.g. NCSA Telnet 2.2 and the papif servers work fine. We also are using Dan Tappan's macdump successfully. But... macrestore won't work. It will run in the background but doesn't register itself. The macrestore.log file show an error in nbp_register if the demon is started up by rc.local. Otherwise there is no error message. Certainly the Mac Chooser doesn't ever show a restore server. Any suggestions?
