We are finally getting our collective acts together and starting to set up our internal network! Currently we have one AppleTalk network almost full and some stuff on an Ethernet netowrk. We are planning to break up the AppleTalk into two nets connected to the Ethernet using a Kinetics FastPath (K-Spool, etc. to send output to an Imagen 3308). This is all good and wonderful, but we would like to be able to send and receive email on the Macs without having them telnet (or something) to the server system (i.e. deliver mail to the Mac or the bridge to distribute, etc). Is this possible? How? I need the details because, quite frankly, I am *not* a Mac expert and not sure what questions to ask. Any help, information, etc. (email'ed of course) would be appreciated. If there is interest, I can summarize and post it to the net. -- scott barman {gatech, emory}!dtscp1!scott
