The Microcomputer Development Products engineering group at Tektronix is 
seeking a systems programmer to help support a UNIX development 
environment, presently consisting of a PDP-11/70 and two VAX-11/780's, 
with more VAXen to come.  Duties include modifying and testing the 
operating system, doing consulting for users, and installing/enhancing 
application programs and utilities.  There is extensive work left to
be done in networking all machines and peripherals.

The successful applicant will have a BSCS or similar degree or 
comparable work experience and will be familiar with the UNIX operating 
system and the C programming language.  Knowledge of system internals, 
especially those of the 2.8 and 4.1 Berkeley distributions, is a plus.
