Now that EtherTalk card are becoming more popular and you can even buy ethernet scsi plug-in ethernet cards for the Mac+, why hasnt anyone come out with a Laserwriter that has an ethernet port? Surely it would be relatively simple? If the Macs can be configured to use EtherTalk, why not teh LaserWriters? Is it that there hasnt been enough demand yet? We have a couple of EtherTalk only labs at the U of M and we still have to have FastPaths for the Laserwriters. Surely adding an ethernet connection to a laser writer would be cheaper than a FastPath?
