I am helping some folks in Switzerland with computer acquisition and I hope some of you folks can help me do this. The problem is this: The lab in Switzerland has a laser that is controlled by an apple //e That is to say there is actually a controller card that plugs into the apple and due to the size of the plug it must go into some certain slot. They have a Kermit program that for some reason will not interface to the PDP computer that does the number crunching. These people are not ignorant of what they have or how to use it so I assume the slot problem can be overcome and any obvious problems can be delt with. The Kermit program (or diskette it is on) is suspect and I am having a very hard time getting another copy. It is nearly impossible for them to get one. If anyone on this net can see a problem with the slight information that I have given here and or can give me another copy of the Kermit program to interface these two it will be greatly appreciated. Of course if more information is needed I will be glad to ask the people in Switzerland anything required, we are in constant communication through Bitnet. One more thing, this wouldn't be complete without a time problem also, would it? Thanks for any help. Dave Parsons
