Has anyone seen any ARCNET cards for the Mac II? I've heard of a couple of places that are working on an ARCNET card for the Macs but I haven't heard of any releases yet. Does anyone have any definite information about these? Is anyone using and ARCNET hardware with the Macs? Does anyone plan to? We have a Novell 2.15 PC LAN and our Macs are communicating via a LocalTalk board in the server. However, this isn't the fastest method for file servering. Also, our offices are already cabled for ARCNET, and that doesn't lend well to connecting the Macs. thanks, Fred Seaton Academic Computing Western Illinois University PS. How much improvement in speed can we expect from ARCNET 2.5 mb speed? Can we expect a 10x improvement in application loading, or is it much less?
