        UNIVERISTY OF ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE

is seeking a professional programmer to work in its research computer
facility.  Currently it has 2 VAX 11/780s and 7 VAX 11/750s, all running
UNIX, plus a variety of other equipment including a Ramtek, a Dolphin,
several 68000-based workstations, a PRIME 650, etc.

This is an opportunity for somebody who likes to work in an informal
environment and be involved in research projects.
It is possible to pursue an advanced degree at the same time.

 I worked for Bill Gear at the University of Illinois while
 working on an Aeronautical Engineering degree.  Everything they
 say was true for me; a great job.  Super friendly place,
 freedom, great facilities (ILLIAC II in my day), great soaring
 (a cut over corn field = booming thermals!), and Chicago not
 too far away (not too close, either).
