I know that various forms of spooling and accounting for LaserWriters via Unix hosts has been discussed numerous times in this group, but does anyone know if an Appletalk Imagewriter could be spooled/accounted via Unix in some way? Can the Unix host advertise a spooled name and the real machine be hidden just as with a LaserWriter? This could be a very important issue for those sites who don't have or can't afford LaserWriters but would still like to enjoy the benefits of the various methods of spooling and accounting. Post to the net or mail me and I'll summarize. Thanks.
