I'm sure this has been discussed before so maybe someone can mail me direct. We have a MacII with EtherTalk. Its actually a MicroExplorer so I know I can access TCP/IP ports on UNIX from the Lisp environment. For the MacOS environment I'd like to select UNIX printers from Chooser. I looked at cap and lwsrv but it seems you have to provide your own kernel support for EtherTalk. What exactly do I have to provide? What do I need at the Mac end? Is there public domain software already available? Is caps really the best way to go?
