Don't forget that unless 1) the mac in question has enough memory to hold ALL the resources (code and otherwise) that the application may need, and 2) the resources have all been loaded by the time Appletalk is disconnected, this user is going to hang his machine sooner or later (probably sooner). No person who is trying to do actual work with his machine is going to take this risk.
