Here is the story. I have this postscript file, which originally was tranlated from a (TeX) dvi file. It prints okay on every apple laser printer EXCEPT the laserwriter II NTX. I have recently found out that someone managed to print it OK on Apple LaserWriter II NT, MSDOS with direct serial connection using my Xon/Xoff handshaking TSR. PostScript version 47.0. Printer serial # CA820VDR, Model # M6000G, manufactured May 1988-T. It also works on non-apple laser printers such as QMS. This is driving me batty. It would appear to be a mismatch between appletalk and the II NT. (We have quite a few of these printers :-( ). Can anyone help? I have put in a postscript error handler all to no avail. It just sits there blinking quietly --- no errors anywhere. I have also mailed apple and so far received no response. If you want the file because you think you might be able to help, please send some mail. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isaac Balbin, Department of Computer Science, ACSNET: isaac@goanna.oz Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, JANET: isaac%goanna.oz.au@uk.ac.ukc GPO BOX 2476 V, ARPA: isaac%goanna.oz.au@uunet.uu.net Melbourne, 3001, CSNET: isaac%goanna.oz.au@australia AUSTRALIA UUCP: ...!uunet!goanna.oz.au!isaac Phone: +61 3 660 2803 BITNET: isaac%goanna.oz.au@relay.cs.net Fax : +61 3 663 2764 EARN: isaac%goanna.oz.au@uk.ac.rl.earn
