veizades@apple.com (John Veizades) (09/13/89)

My earlier message announcing the Macintosh Birds of a Feather session at
InterOp had the incorrect date it should have read Thursday October 5th
from 6 to 8 PM. The corrected text is as follows:

------------

Macintoshes are found in more and more installations in the Internet. In
response to this at InterOp '89 there will be a birds of a feather session
on the topic of Macintoshes and the Internet environment. This BOF will
open discussion on how Macintoshes can be better absorbed into this
community. Details that will be discussed included:

KIP (tunneling of IP packets in AppleTalk)
IPTalk (tunneling of AppleTalk in IP)
MacTCP and other TCP/IP implementation for the Mac.
Macintosh applications that use TCP/IP
etc.

Representatives from Apple and other Macintosh network vendors will be
present. This BOF is on Thursday October 5 from 6 to 8 P.M. the location
will be announced at the conference.

Please contact me for any additional information.
