We are using the contributed version of NCSA Telnet for PC using AppleTalk boards. I believe that the date on this software was April 13 of this year. We have had no problem with that actual telnet capabilities, but rather with FTP. Here is what we are seeing... With KFPS2s running KIP 09/87 we have no problems with FTP nor PING. Using the same configuration file, but via a KFPS4 running KSTAR, we are unable to either get PING or FTP response back to the originating host from the PC. The PC seems to be getting the FTP and PING requests, as evidenced by actually seeing the PING requests via the (Alt-M) messages screen. Is there anyone else out in netland that is trying to use NCSA Telnet for PC with AppleTalk boards (via KFPS4s) and having the same problem. If nothing else, misery loves company...
