I want to use an atalkad that is sitting on another net across campus as the source of routing information... I know how to do this, but the problem is that if I do this and my connection to that host is broken at a time the FastPath reboots, our local zone will be down until the connection to the remote host is resumed. What I would like to do is tell the FastPath in advance enough information so that when it boots it can function for our local zone until the atalkad system is again available. Is this possible? I notice in the KIP documents that the config file stops at a 1234 flag if it is present. Could it be that the info living past that is what I am looking to prime? Another possible solution would be if I could get the KIP box to listen to both my local host and the remote one... is this possible? Thanks for reading the message!
