Why did you call everything the same zone?  There should be a logical
division - such as if you have two groups of people, you should have a
"group A" zone and a "group B" zone.  The Ethernet zone should be called
"backbone" or "ether" or something like that.  With everything in the
same zone, traffic in one PhoneNet net goes through to ether and into the
other PhoneNet zone.  You're on the right track by putting in the Ethernet,
but now give the zones different names!  Also, if you have two or more
printers, you should have a printer in each zone, so that local printer
traffic doesn't have to go flood another zone.

As for your problem, I suspect that maybe there is some periodic network
task that may be going on in one PhoneNet network that is flooding the
whole system since it's all the same zone.  Perhaps giving each net a
different zone name will solve this...
