Forgive me if this has been asked before. I would like to run AppleShare PC on IBM PC's and PS/2's with Ethernet cards. I know I can buy Localtalk PC Cards + Appleshare PC. I'd like to have just Ethernet cards. Does Appleshare PC (or a compat product) run on Ethernet Cards? Any phone numbers would be helpful. If AppleShare PC only runs on Localtalk PC cards, and Appleshare PC comes bundled with Localtalk PC cards, then why is Appleshare PC available separately? Thanks, Scott Situation: 5 PC XT's, 5 PS/2's, Macs, Mac File Server, Kbox, Unix Machines running UMd Aufs. jsm%ss01.pppl.gov@ccc.nmfecc.gov or jsm@phoenix.princeton.edu

Appleshare PC is listed as compatible on 3-COM's Ethernet boards for the PC and PS/2 Microchannel computers. Compatibility for other vendors cards would have to be verified by the manfacterer. Note that if you use Appleshare PC 2.0, you must use AppleTalk Phase 2 on your Ethernet network. -- __________________________________________________________________________ |Disclaimer: I run 125 INITs.
