[net.jobs] UNIX development supervisor wanted

mark (03/25/83)

A headhunter is looking for someone with extensive UNIX internals
experience (not necessarily any supervisory experience) to work
for a firm in central New Jersey (near Murray Hill, but this is
apparently not associated with Bell Labs) in "developing an operating
system" for financial applications (e.g. the customers are banks).
It was not clear to me whether they want a UNIX-like system built
from the ground up, or whether they want something built on top of
UNIX, or whether they have UNIX and just want someone who knows it.

The headhunter's name is John Ford, with Human Resources International,
at (201) 739-1900. Don't call me or send me mail, I'm just passing
the word.

John Ford at HRI must have a USENIX list. He called me and gave me the
same spiel as he gave Mark.

I got a call from this guy several weeks ago. I agree, he's gotten hold
of a list.
