What is EtherTalk ? I know that it lets Mac users use Ethernet Cabling instead
of the usual LocalTalk cabling, what I specifically need to know is which
protocol is used. Is it the standard ethernet protocol (whatever that is) or is
it some type of Apple standard just running at a higher speed due to the
Ethernet option (ie would a standard Ethernet device be able to talk to the Mac
or would the software need to be rewritten) ?
I have also heard of EtherTalk phase 2 - what is it ?
Any help appreciated, thanks, Scott.
