This might be totally out of place here BUT... We are having a problem here with an apple talk network. The problem is that our Macs are connected via appletalk to a public lab because we both use a fastpath to connect to ethernet. The snag is that our laserprinter is also on the network, but it is for our use only. They will not remove the laserwriter software because they need it to format documents properly (ie Microsoft word, etc.) And at least once a day we get misdirected print stuff from people that "ment" to print on their appletalk imagewriters. At one point we distributed mangled copies of Laserwriter in which we changed the zone information and locked the file but normal ones have crept back onto their machines. We have given up all hope of permanently changing there system software. The question is, is there something we can do to the laserwriter or through appletalk (short of running a computer to make different zones) that will solve our problem?
