We are running the Aufs AppleShare file server software on a SparcStation. We have 3 Mac 512KE's with only one 800K floppy drive each. We would like to be able to run these 512KE's with system software installed on the server. This way the floppy drive can be used for students' applications and documents. However Apple's Installer will not install on an AppleShare file server and simply copying the system files to the server does not seem to create a 'Startup Volume'. Is there a way to make this setup work the way I want it to? Please respond by e-mail. If I learn something useful, I'll summarize to the net. David H.
