I have to find a system to allow file sharing as transparently as possible between a bunch of Macs on a appletalk network, and a network of VAX systems, Sun workstations, HP workstations, etc, on ethernet. Currently, the Macs communicate with a VAX mini through a "fastpath" using PacerShare, but this has been found to be rather restrictive. It would be nice to be able to share files directly with the HP, for instance. Anyone got any suggestions of the best direction to look here? I am quite open to ideas, since I am fairly new to the networking ballgame. How about 'uab'? I keep seeing references to it. If I get enough interest, I will post a summary. Thanks in advance, Eric
