This is most likely the wrong group for this request, however, I have a question regarding the apple 2e computer. When a friend installed the AE 2400 baud internal modem in the computer, the duo-disk drive fails to boot properly. When the modem is taken out the disk drive boots just fine. Seems this happens even in other slots and this is the second modem which AE exchanged. I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and may know if there is a fix for this.
