I pulled across UAB from Rutgers (thanks R. Patel!), and built it as described in the installation notes. Although it appears to run, and I can get CAP to talk to it (as evidenced by the debugging messages from UAB), I can't "see" anything from the Mac side, nor can the Macs "see" anything I register (using atis). My configuration is: 5 Mac IIci, IIx running AShare server + Internet Router and also connected to LW on localtalk, Sun Sparcstation-1 running SunOS 4.0.3 on which I'm trying to bring up CAP/UAB. They are all on the same ethernet, and the Macs are all running AT phase 2 because of IR. I can Telnet to the Sun from the Macs, both with and without MacTCP. Is it AppleTalk Phase 2 that is causing the problem? If so, is there a version of UAB that works with AppleTalk phase 2? Or have I simply got my bridge_desc wrong?
