[comp.protocols.appletalk] MAC IICX and a Macintosh Ethertalk Card

edwards@dogie.macc.wisc.edu (mark edwards) (06/02/90)

Does anyone know if this combination is supposed to work? Someone on
campus has this configuration and has installed the Ethertalk drivers
and everything but nothing shows up under the Control Panel suggesting
that the Ethertalk (more specifically the network icon) is there.

thanks for any info.

Yes, why of course this works. We have many IIcx's with ethernet cards that
run ethertalk and work flawlessly (Well, almost) :-)
Just follow the install and away you go....

I can confirm this. Although we haven't set up our large network yet, we
have several //cx's in a test net all linked with Ethernet cards (and Ether-
Talk).

				They work fine,
