GenRad, a leader in the automatic test equipment industry,
has several new hardware and software positions for computer
science professionals. The desired level of experience ranges
from recent graduates to seasoned veterans. Areas of development
include communications, networking, operating systems, compilers,
graphics, CAD/CAM, and robotics. While software is written mostly
in C, some positions will require some assembly language and
real-time programming.
GenRad is about 30 minutes from Boston and Cambridge.
You can live in the suburbs, close to work, and still have easy
access to the shops, restaurants, and culture in Boston, and to
the academic environment in Cambridge. If you appreciate the
changing seasons, you can enjoy the beaches on Cape Cod, hiking on
local trails or trekking through the White Mountains, skiing at
major sites in New Hampshire and Vermont, and various other outdoor
activities.
