A position is available for Manager of Software Product Engineering. Responsibilities include the productization and qualification of National's software products for its NS16032 microprocessor. These products include: GENIX - A version of Berkeley 4.1 bsd for the NS16032 UNIX System V, NS16032 Version NSXC-16 - A cross tools package for the NS16032 operable in a VAX/UNIX 4.1 bsd environment. NSX-16 - A cross tools package for the NS16032 operable in VAX/VMS and PDP-11/RSX-11M environments. BLMX-16 - A real-time kernel for the NS16032. Additional responsibilities include the qualification of various third party software, the management of the VAX based software data center, and the manufacturing and distribution of product software. Candidates should have strong management depth with major project management experience and a MS/CS degree or equivalent experience.
