J O B S O P E N I N G S A T M A S S C O M P MASSCOMP(TM) has created a mid-range mini-computer for engineering, scientific and industrial R & D labs, the MASSCOMP/500 Series. It combines the performance of a large 32-bit computer with the ease of use of a personal computer taking advantage of a multi- processor architecture for computation, graphics and data acquisition. Its User Interface System allows for the develop- ment of many applications without writing a single line of code. Real Time UNIX (RTU) is a System III / 4.xBSD hybrid enhanced for real-time applications. (This is the only micro-based system that ranked higher than the 11/750 in the unofficial benchmarks distributed in net.micro shortly after the winter UNICOM.) MASSCOMP is located northwest of Boston, 40 minutes driving time from downtown, near Interstate 495. A new facility is under construction nearby in Westford; it will be the central development and production headquarters for MASSCOMP this fall. Our growth has generated several key openings for people who thrive in a rapid-growth, high-technology, start-up environment.
