I asked this question a month ago and got no reply. Has anyone gotten MacTCP and/or NCSA Telnet to work with MacWorks Plus? We have an accelerated Mac XL and are currently running MacWorks Plus 1.0.18 and System 6.0.3. We are using AppleShare, Tops, Responder, and QuickMail without any problems, but neither NCSA Telnet with the built-in driver not anything using MacTCP will work. It simply tells us the gateway or server did not respond. Mac Pluses set up identically on the same LocalTalk cable work fine. At an earlier time NCSA Telnet did work on the Mac XL. That was with one of the earliest versions of MacWorks Plus, but I don't recall the exact version number. It might have been 1.0.5 or so. Can anyone confirm this or tell us what we are doing wrong?
