[comp.protocols.appletalk] SLIP and/or PPP for MacTCP?

morgan@JESSICA.STANFORD.EDU (08/15/90)

Does anyone know anything about the status of SLIP and/or PPP
implementations for the Mac to run under MacTCP?

Thanks,

MacTCP 1.0.2 or whatever it will be called upon final release, will
include full support for the implementation of alternate link access
protocols i.e. TokenRing, PPP, SLIP, Arcnet, etc.

Apple's MacTCP team is actively soliciting alpha test developers who are
interested in implementing alternate LAP interfaces for MacTCP. If you
are interested in becoming a Alpha tester for this functionality please
send a message detailing your development goals, expected completion time
frame and any other relevant information to MacTCP@vida.apple.com.

Thanks
