Hi ! We have a problem also connecting PC on the appletalk network. Wehave just installed an appletalk network which has 15 MACs and 10 PC IBM ps2 on it and 2 apple lazer writers.The problem is that with the AppleTalkPC cards installed and the software and they have been connected correctly on the DA, we cant get the things to print. When we use WORD5 or WINDOWS 3 and configure them so that they select the APPLELASERWriter NTX, Word will send only the cover sheet but not the document and anything we try to print through windows quits on tme out with the message can't ptint on LPT1. Has anyone got any ideas ???????? before I go completely bald. By the way we don't have a file server and are getting a Fastpath to connectus to the VAX in about 8 weeks.
