Operating Systems Architects: ----------------------------- Operating Systems Architects have a ground floor opportunity in state-of- the-art Operating Systems design for Intel's future 32-bit microprocessor. Working as part of a recently created group, these individuals will provide technical leadership in architecting and implementing new O.S. software. They will interface with other hardware and software groups to ensure a coherent systems architecture. A candidate should have an advanced degree in Computer Science with at least five years of systems software experience. Direct experience in real-time design, distributed computing, virtual memory management and UNIX(*) internals is preferred. At least two years experience in architectures of sophisticated operating systems is required. Software Engineers: ------------------- Software Engineers will find a challenging opportunity to contribute to state-of-the-art Operating Systems design for Intel's future 32-bit micro- processor. The engineer will work with a recently formed development team to design, specify and implement several new modular O.S. subsystems. Concepts include real-time operation, protection, synchronization and exclusion, file and device management, debuggability and distributed computing. Candidates should have a BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent, with 2-4 years experience in design and implementation of systems software.
