Some questions that may have been addressed before (sorry). Currently we are addressing the transition options to phase2/ethertalk 2.0. We make extensive use of KIP/CAP at local and remote sites and find that with upgrading, many of our services will break since I "think" KIP/CAP does not support phase2/ethertalk 2.0. Will it ? If so, when ? If not, why not ? Much of our current services (MacEMail, Dumper which rely on CAP) could be rewritten on top of MacTCP... AUFS services can transition to MacNFS/NFS type solutions... What are other current KIP/CAP sites doing to support mac's on ethernet ? are you phasing out kip/cap (and services) and installing 2.0 supported routers and related services ? Just looking for strategies... Thank you.. Ron Watkins rwatkins@bbn.com
