> where can I find MacMH?

Mac/MH is a part of Stanford's SU-Mac/IP package. It is an electronic mail
user interface based on POP3 for receiving mail and SMTP for sending mail.
It runs atop Apple's MacTCP. The rest of the SU-Mac/IP package includes
Telnet, FTP, Whois, Finger, and lpr clients.

SU-Mac/IP is only licensed to degree-granting institutions of higher
education. A $150 fee gets you the software and manuals, and allows you
to copy it freely within your institution. For licensing info send a
message to macip@jessica.stanford.edu.

There are many other POP2- and POP3-based mail clients for the Mac that
don't have our academic-only restrictions. I don't have a list of them,
but I'm sure others do. Can anyone post a moderately comprehensive list?

There is also a Mac client (I'm using it right now) for the IMAP mail
system developed at SUMEX here at Stanford. Its executable is FTP-able
from sumex-aim.stanford.edu.
