I have 2 questions. 1. Is it better to subdivide an increasingly busy appletalk network by adding shiva netbridges or adding additional fastpaths? We currently have about 100 macs and 10 LW's on a phoneNet, star controlled network. When Shiva bridges were added to alleviate traffic, they made things worse. We have only 1 fastpath to the ethernet. Since we do have spare fastpaths, the next thought was to zone by using the fastpaths. Any ideas about whether this will help? 2. What should we to prepare for appletalk phase 2; and when is it coming into being? If it already exits, which products are affected by it - Appleshare (rev?)?
